Reviews with a pattern
One bad review means nothing. Nine reviews mentioning the same broken air conditioning means something, and that place does not make the page.

Resort fees, compulsory breakfast, parking, city tax. We compare what actually leaves your account, not the headline rate.

Booking sites negotiate separately with each property, so the identical room can differ by fifty euros a night depending on where you click. Sometimes the hotel own site wins. We check all of them and say which.
